But we end up partnering with a plastics company in developing a material that could handle almost double the temperature at dry cleaners, which is really, really high. Andy: I just came up with the thought I haven’t thought about, but — you know, you go from work, you’re headed out to meet friends at a bar or something, you got to take your necktie off, and you could still look good [because your placket & collar are not drooping]. Selvedge and a nice button-up might seem like a quick fix to looking polished, but it’s the small details that really make the look. Rob: Well, originally, we’re going to do that. It’s really flexible. Let me explain- I've noticed that most of my polo shirts have started to develop creases in the collars that are seemingly there to stay. So you can button all the way up, wear a tie like normal, pop it off, it’s just there and you’re ready to look great casually. There’s no separate fabric here. I know your motivation but how did you go to that next step? I used to break a lot of stuff when I was a kid.
